About me

Born in 1996, Núria Romeu is a Catalan artist whose work involves a process of research and introspection aimed at understanding how human nature, the body, the mind, the subconscious, and therefore what defines us as individuals are constructed. In this inexhaustible quest, Núria shows a keen interest in those more "melancholic" or bitter aspects of what constructs this human being: illness, loss, memory, nostalgia, the subconscious, the dream world, and all those myths that are part of our person and our culture, addressing them both from an autobiographical perspective and from a more objective point of view. Working with different illustration techniques, Núria dissects her work slowly and meticulously as she builds it on paper, line by line. In addition to illustration, she is also interested in other types of media such as jewelry or glass. ​‎ EDUCATION 2015 - 2019.
